Jura, 16 years - Diurachs' Own 70cl

The Isle of Jura is one of the most impressive parts of Scotland. Only a few hundred people inhabit the island — they are far outnumbered by the thousands of deer that surround them. The distillery is situated in a town called Craighouse and sits at the heart of the island’s community. The people that live on the Isle of Jura are called Diurachs, which is why the Jura 16 Y is dubbed the Diurach’s Own. It is the whisky of choice for the people of Jura and signifies the special relationship they have with the distillery.
