Tasting Collection

Tasting Collection accepts no liability arising from errors (including typographical errors) in, or omissions from this Tasting Collection website. By accessing and using the Tasting Collection website, the Buyer confirms acceptance of these general conditions, which may be changed without prior notice.

Prices

Prices listed on the site are exclusive of shipping costs. The shipping costs will be calculated in the check-out of the site, depending on the Buyer’s place of residence, and will be listed separately before the Buyer checks out.

All prices are in Euros and all orders will be settled in Euros. Prices may be displayed in other currencies as approximate prices. Other than prices indicated in Euros, these are always for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual amount charged to the Buyer by PayPal, bank, or card company, as exchange rates constantly change. The total order amount – the amount that the Buyer will actually be charged – will be displayed in Euros before the Buyer places the order.

Goods must be fully paid for prior to shipping.

Prices mentioned for all offered products or services, as shown on the site, are subject to change without notice. Any changes in price will be communicated and confirmed to the Buyer before shipping to allow the Buyer the opportunity to cancel the order.

Legal capacity to enter into purchase:

The Buyer must have reached the legal age to purchase alcohol, both in the country where the Buyer confirms the order and in the destination country. The Buyer must declare this on the site prior to checkout, if applicable.

Shipping and Delivery:

Tasting Collection usually ships orders placed through the webshop within 24 hours. Exceptions may be orders of more than 10 products at once.

All offered products are subject to availability. Tasting Collection cannot guarantee the availability of products.

The Buyer must carefully check all items immediately upon receipt and compare the received set with the original order without breaking the seal, and must immediately contact the customer service of Tasting Collection by email if the received products are incorrect or incomplete. Sets with broken seals cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons, even if the received set does not correspond to the ordered set.

In the event of receipt of damaged goods, the Buyer must also report this immediately by email to Tasting Collection. The Buyer must not return the goods unless instructed by Tasting Collection and must keep the goods until the Buyer receives further instructions.

Tasting Collection cannot accept any liability for delayed or non-delivery of goods due to an incorrectly supplied delivery address.

If a package is returned to Tasting Collection by one of our shipping partners due to an incomplete or incorrect delivery address provided by the Buyer, Tasting Collection will charge the shipping costs for resending the product. If the Buyer does not wish for the goods to be resent, Tasting Collection will refund the value of the goods to the Buyer minus the original shipping costs.

Tasting Collection does not accept liability for goods that are needed by a specific date and do not arrive at the Buyer within the required time.

Inquiries about your (not yet) delivered order for the Netherlands and Belgium can be made within 5 days after the expected delivery. This is due to the conditions set by our shipping partners. A query about your order for the Netherlands, Belgium, and the rest of the world can only be set within 2 weeks of the originally expected delivery date. Any recipient declaration you may have to fill out, which you receive at the request of our customer service, must also be returned to our customer service within this period.

Local taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer.

Tasting Collection is not responsible for any orders that are seized or confiscated due to the Buyer not meeting additional customs obligations.

Whisky Tasting Club

Contract duration:

The membership for the Whisky Tasting Club is entered into for a minimum period of 1 year, starting from the date of online ordering via the webshop or signing the form on location. Buyout of the agreement is possible by paying an additional €35 administration fee, which must be paid before the membership is terminated.

Collection:

When entering into a membership for the Whisky Tasting Club online via the webshop using the payment method ‘automatic collection’, the Buyer must pay the first part of the membership, which includes the costs for the starter edition, in advance and must correctly fill in the IBAN number for the automatic collection before the first edition of the Whisky Tasting Club is delivered to the Buyer. Incorrectly filling in this IBAN number does not exempt the Buyer from obligations arising from entering into the agreement.

Rejections of collections:

Tasting Collection reserves the right to suspend the shipping of subsequent editions until payments for sent and subsequent editions have been settled. This does not exempt the Buyer from payment for the aforementioned editions. An additional administration fee of €0.50 will be charged to the Buyer for each rejected collection.
